Summer Outdoor Survival
Many topics are covered during this intense Arctic summer land and sea survival course, which includes 2 days of in-town sessions consisting of lectures, demonstrations (with plenty of hands on experience) and a practical 5 day expedition in the Arctic tundra putting theory into practice. You will learn about survival planning, survival medicine, use of tools and ropes, useful and harmful sea coast and tundra wildlife, building shelters on the tundra, traditional navigation techniques, alternative fire-lighting methods, and traditional Arctic living skills.
Highly recommended for backpackers, expedition team leaders, safety professionals, and search and rescue teams.
